Just as we did with our coleslaw and potato salad we have stuck to the classic and very simple recipe here. Even the most novice of cooks could put this together, it’s one that, even though Meg did it, even I could rustle this one up! Let’s get to it!
- 500g of pasta
- 2 tins of tuna
- 1 tin of sweetcorn
- 5-7 heaped tablespoons of mayonnaise
- Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions and once drain set aside to completely cool.
- Once cooled add the tuna and the sweetcorn and mix together.
- Then add the mayo, this is a rough guide depending how much sauce you would like in the pasta we found 6 tbs was just right for us.
It’s that easy!! We like to keep things simple here but if you wanted to expand this recipe by getting creative then you could throw all sort of vegetables in here; tomatoes, onions or even grated carrot. If you were having this as a main meal for dinner, you could serve your pasta on a bed of succulent lettuce leaves. Before we get too far into sounding like an M and S advert, we’ll leave this recipe with you to get creative with.
